Waterfront | SeaWorld

Inspired by a seaside Mediterranean village, the Waterfront area at SeaWorld is the newest themed area of the park featuring a quaint cobblestone walking area. The Waterfront is home to SeaWorld Orlando’s 400-foot-tall rotating observation Sky Tower ride. While the Waterfront area was opened in 2003, the Sky Tower has actually been part of SeaWorld since 1973. When the Waterfront was opened, the iconic Sky Tower was seamlessly integrated into the new area. The Waterfront is also home to a pearl dive exhibit, called The Oyster’s Secret, and several shops and restaurants along with talented strolling entertainers, including the Groove Chefs. At the pearl dive exhibit, guests can view a large oyster pool and even choose an oyster among the many that live in the pool. Alongside the oyster lagoon lies a pearl smith who will pry open your chosen oyster and pluck your very own cultured pearl from inside. What’s more, there are onsite pearl-jewelry artisans who can create special, one-of-a-kind creations from your specially-chosen pearl, leaving you with a memento of your SeaWorld visit that you will always treasure.

For a taste of the islands, be sure to visit the Seafire Inn at the Waterfront, where you can experience the Makahiki Luau. The luau includes musical and dancing entertainment accompanied by delicious authentic Hawaiian cuisine along with kid-friendly offerings as well. Reservations are required for this popular event.
