Typhoon Lagoon | Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park

Located in the Typhoon Lagoon water park, Typhoon Lagoon is also the name of the largest area in the park. Several attractions can be found in this area, along with white sand beaches. The Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool is a wave pool that alternates between having 90 minutes of surf waves at six feet high to 30 minutes of a bobbing waves cycle. This enables guests of many different ages and abilities to enjoy the wave pool. As you’re lounging in the sandy beach area, you can close your eyes and hear the sound of real surf hitting the coastline. Typhoon Lagoon’s Surf Pool is one of the largest surf pools in the world.

Bay Slides in Typhoon Lagoon is a beginning slide designed for toddlers. They will still feel like they are having as much fun as the big kids are on the bigger slide, but Bay Slides takes them down gentle slope that end in a secluded area of the Surf Pool. Blustery Bay and Whitecap Cove are two zero-depth entry tidal pools located in Typhoon Lagoon. Both are surrounded by a sandy beach and adjacent to the Surf Pool. Craig Carroll’s Cocoa Beach Surf School is located in Typhoon Lagoon, and guests can really learn the fundamentals of surfing here. The Surf Schools offers a two-and-a-half hour surf lesson before the park opens to the public for a cost in addition to the entry fee.
