Take it Easy | Wet 'n Wild
Whether you’re ready to take a break from the thrills and chills of the numerous water slides or you just prefer to kick back and relax, there are plenty of places to chill out at Wet ‘n Wild water theme park in Orlando.
The Lazy River’s name pretty much says it all. Riders can either float on an inner tube (available for rent) or just let the gentle current carry their bodies down the river in this tranquil, fun ride. The Lazy River is surrounded by the lush scenery that is so prevalent on Orlando and includes mature trees and flowers. Adding to the feeling of really traveling down a lazy river somewhere down south, riders will also pass by old boat docks, old fashioned billboards, and waterfalls.
The Surf Lagoon/wave pool is a 17,000 square-foot area where you can enjoy the gently lapping water on the shore, but go further into the water and you’ll experience 4-foot, rolling waves along with a waterfall. You can ride those waves on an inner tube or body surf if you desire. The Surf Lagoon is surrounded by ample seating areas and a sand-play area for kids. Nearby, two volleyball nets are available to anyone who wants to start a pick-up game of beach volleyball. For the ultimate in relaxation, cabanas are available to rent for the day.
