Serenity Bay | Discovery Cove
While it’s true that there are plenty of exciting adventures at Discovery Cove, including a dolphin swim, snorkeling, and even an underwater exploration adventure, there are also plenty of places to chill out there as well. Discovery Cove’s Serenity Bay is just one of those places. You could consider Serenity Bay a pool, of course, and if you love lounging by the pool, you’ll love Serenity Bay. But Serenity Bay is much more than just a pool. It’s kept at a refreshing 80-86 degrees, which is a perfect temperature for the Orlando heat. There’s a sandy beach where kids can play and where you can grab a lounge chair and plant yourself.
For more relaxing fun in the water, the Wind Away River gives guests the lazy river experience they may be familiar with from other water parks, but with a twist. As you wile away time in the Wind Away River, you’ll travel past cascading waterfalls, a lush and exotic rain forest, and even through an underwater cave if you wish.
Because Discovery Cove only lets a certain amount of people in each day, you won’t feel crowded in Serenity Bay or Wind Away River like you might at some other water parks. Then again, Discovery Cove is far from your ordinary water park.
