Second Floor | DisneyQuest | Downtown Disney
On the Second Floor of DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park, you’ll find several exciting attractions, including:
• CyberSpace Mountain: The name is a play on the famous Disney theme park attraction Space Mountain, but for this attraction, you get to design your own roller coaster and then sit in a pitch-and-roll ride simulator and actually ride the roller coaster you’ve just created. If you’re fresh out of roller coaster ideas or just want to have another roller coaster experience, you can also ride pre-built coasters. This ride is hosted by Bill Nye the Science Guy, called Bill Nye the Coaster Guy for this attraction. This attraction is tremendous fun, but you’ll also get a real feel for what it must be like to be a Disney Imagineer.
• Aladdin’s Magic Carpet Ride: To play this game, you’ll wear a head-mounted device as you take a simulated magic carpet ride through Agrabah. You’ll collect gems to help find Genie, who is being hidden away in the Cave of Wonders.
• Animation Academy: This attraction offers another experience which will have you imagining what it must be like to work for Disney. You’ll learn how to draw characters with lightpens on computer screens, and you can buy a printout of your creation if you want.
• Sid’s Create-a-Toy: Remember the naughty Sid from “Toy Story?” He was the one who made all the bizarre toy creations from other toy parts, and he was greatly feared by Buzz, Woody, and the gang. This attraction lets you do the same. You will create a custom toy out of other toys and then buy it later.
• Living Easels: Guests can use an interactive touch-screen program to place images on several different backgrounds. You can purchase a print out of your creation if you want.
• Radio Disney Song Maker: Another “create now, buy later” attraction. Here, you can create you song and then buy a copy of it later.
