Liberty Square--Disney's Magic Kingdom

Liberty Square is an area of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World that is inspired by and modeled after one of the early colonial towns of the American Revolution. Liberty Square is where you’ll find the popular dark ride Haunted Mansion, which has undergone a recent facelift. Here is where guests ride “doom buggies” through a very haunted house, where animatronic characters lurk around every corner.

Liberty Square is also home to Hall of Presidents, which is an animatronic display of every president the United States has ever had, from George Washington to Barack Obama and everything in between. The U.S. theme is also present in Liberty Square with the replicas of the Liberty Tree and the Liberty Bell. Speaking of Liberty Bell, the Rivers of America in Liberty Square is where you’ll find the Liberty Belle riverboat. This paddleboat transports guests up and down the river, allowing guests to embark in both Liberty Square and Frontierland.

With the Revolutionary-War era architecture and theme running throughout Liberty Square along with the stirring representations of the American presidents at the Hall of Presidents, you can’t help but feel patriotic as you stroll through this quintessential American area of Magic Kingdom.
