The laser tag game takes place in a dark maze with black lighting. If you’re familiar with black lighting, you know that you can see some light colored object but darker-colored object are invisible. It adds to the excitement of the game to see flashes of other people moving around the maze without knowing quite when they might jump out at you.
Players are equipped with laser “weapons” that, when trained upon an opponent and “fired,” place a beam of light on the intended target. The last person to avoid getting “lasered” wins the game. The laser tag course at WonderWorks is located in a sprawling 10,000 square-foot area in the “basement” area of the attraction, which actually means it’s located on the top floor.
After you are done playing laser tag, you’ll find many other fun activities in the laser tag area. There’s an impressive video arcade area where you can try your skill at air hockey, basketball, dancing, race car driving, and more. For many of the games, you can win tickets that you can save up and redeem for prizes at the WonderWorks prize redemption center. The better you play the games, the more tickets you can win and the better prizes you can get.
