Kids' Park | Wet 'n Wild
The Kids' Park at Wet ‘n Wild water theme park in Orlando is more than just a couple kiddie pools. It’s an entire mini-park shrunk down to be a perfect fit for the under-48-inches set.
The centerpiece of the Kids' Park is a house-sized castle with two slides emerging from the front. A shallow pool provides a place for slide riders to make a safe landing and is also an ideal play area. Atop the castle is a huge bucket that fills with water. Every few minutes, the bucket reaches maximum capacity and tips over to splash on the kids playing in the pool below. Don’t be surprised if you see several kids gathered around that area, counting the seconds until the bucket dumps its next load.
Parents will appreciate the comfortable seating area located very close to the shallow kids' pools because they can relax a bit while still being able to keep a close eye on the little ones. As an added level of safety, ample lifeguards are situated throughout the Kids Park and indeed throughout the entire Wet ‘n Wild park as well.
The Kids' Park is not the only area where wee ones are allowed. They are also allowed in the Wave Pool and the Lazy River if they are outfitted with a life preserver, which are provided free of charge. The big sandy beach area around the Wave Pool provides little ones to make castles in the sand, even though you're miles and miles away from the ocean.
