Hollywood Boulevard | Disney's Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Boulevard—the boulevard of dreams and also the themed area serving as Disney’s Hollywood Studios main entrance at Walt Disney World Resort. Hollywood Boulevard epitomizes the aura of excitement, anticipation, and fantasy of the Hollywood film industry. This area is the epicenter of Hollywood Studios, as witnessed by the iconic, massive Sorcerer’s Hat at the end of the Boulevard. Here’s where you’ll find a front-row seat to the Pixar Block Party Bash and the High School Musical 3 Senior Year parades. You’ll also find a replica of the famous Grauman’s Chinese Theater, complete with handprints from celebrities such as Alan Alda, Lauren Bacall, Robin Williams, Charlton Heston, Samuel L. Jackson, Sylvester Stallone, Bette Midler and Tom Cruise embedded in the front walkway just like the original Grauman’s in Hollywood. Hollywood Boulevard is also home to The Great Movie Ride, a dark ride located inside Grauman’s that pays tribute to great classic films including “The Wizard of Oz,” “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” “Alien,” “Singing in the Rain,” “Casablanca,” and more.
Hollywood characters come to life throughout the day on Hollywood Boulevard—several caricatures of Hollywood types such as the country bumpkin coming to Hollywood to make it big, a rich Hollywood mogul, a mysterious Italian film director, an assortment of quirky actors, and more interact and mingle with guests and engage in unexpected performance art. Guests will find several retail stores on Hollywood Boulevard, each offering a variety of unique Disney and movie-inspired merchandise.
As Hollywood Boulevard turns a corner, you’ll find sparkling Echo Lake, another Hollywood Studios area where even more exciting attractions await.
