Green Slope | Disney's Blizzard Beach
The Green Slope attractions at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park are located at the highest point of fabulous Mount Gushmore. There is a chairlift at the base of the mountain that will take you up, or if you are feeling energetic, you can walk up there. Just like at a real ski resort, the chairlift is a one-way ride and is almost as much fun as the fast ride back down.
Once you are on the Green Slope of Mt. Gushmore, you’ll find these thrilling single-track water slides:
• Summit Plummet: This 120-foot tall thrill ride can reach speeds of 60 miles-per-hour and is one of the highest and fastest free fall slides in the world.
• Teamboat Springs is officially the world’s longest group white-water raft ride. This 1,400-foot-long ride sends riders bumping down some crazy rushing waterfalls in rubber rafts than can hold up to six people.
• Slush Gusher is another excitement-packed attraction on Mt. Gushmore. This 90-foot-tall, 250-foot-long slide reaches up to 35 miles per hour and adds extra thrills where it levels off and then drops again. Believe it or not, it’s possible for riders to catch air on this ride!
