Gatorland

Gatorland is a 110-acre theme park and nature conservatory located in Central Florida at the head of the famous Florida Everglades. You’ll know you’ve arrived at a place unlike any other, as you enter the park through the gigantic gaping gator mouth!

Gatorland epitomizes everything that made Central Florida such a popular tourist destination way before Mickey Mouse came to town. Founded in 1949 as a kitschy roadside attraction, Gatorland has evolved to become one of the premiere theme parks in Central Florida. Believe it or not, Gatorland was started when founder Owen Godwin, Sr. built an alligator pit in the backyard of his Florida home. After WWII, he bought a plot of land to house his homegrown attraction which later became Gatorland.

Known at the “Gator Capitol of the World,” Gatorland is home to thousands of gators and crocodiles—including the amazing white alligators, a breeding marsh with boardwalk and observation tower, reptile shows, and aviary, petting zoo, swamp walk, educational programs, adventure tours, and much more. One of the newer additions to Gatorland is Gator Gully Splash Park, the perfect place to be when you’ve had your fill of gators and just want a fun place to cool off.

Gatorland provides fun for the whole family at a price that won’t break the vacation bank, and info2WDW.com offers you tickets to Gatorland at a discount price to save even more.
