Rookie Mistakes

In order to fully enjoy your much deserved Disney World family vacation, there is a series of rookie mistakes guests often commit that you should avoid to do.

To help you be advised about these mistakes and how to avoid them we have thought of writing down these few words with some Disney Insider tips also included.

The first thing you have to prepare for when going for a Disney World tour is that Walt Disney World is really a big land, and when I say big I mean a 47 square mile stretch of land.

Try to avoid getting lost over which ride or attraction to visit etc… you can do this by doing some Disney vacation planning prior to your arrival.

We also suggest that anyone thinking about a Disney family vacation should check and get acquainted with the prices around the parks, a lot of problematic moments can be spared this way without any need to explain why.

To give you an example of what we mean, during your Walt Disney World tour you will find a pretzel costs $2.89 and a drink to wash it down with will set you back another couple of dollars.

Also a good travel tip for Disney World is to take some cash with you because although the resorts and most of the shops accept credit cards, certain purchases such as candy floss, hot dogs etc… have to be purchased with cash.

Another commonly found rookie mistake committed on Walt Disney World vacations is the purchase of tickets not containing the wanted access to certain rides or attractions. Always read and check what type of ticket to buy thus saving valuable time upgrading later.

And last but not least of our Disney touring tips is that you should lodge at one of the Disney World’s own resorts in order to save transfer times and also benefit from reduced transport and attraction fees, check for more info on Disney World money saving tips.
