Who does not remember the cute and cuddly elephant that has made us dream trough all our childhood, and is still able to touch hearts of any age.

That’s right, we are talking about one of Disney Magic Kingdom Theme Park’s all time favourite.

Opened in 1971, Dumbo the Flying Elephant has never stopped to amaze visitors from the entire world.

At Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Dumbo the Flying Elephant will help you reach the skies by taking you aboard his back and taking you for a flight you won’t forget very soon.

Magic Kingdom Park continues to enchant our little ones, together with Dumbo, this gentle aerial journey takes you for a smooth stride across the blue skies.

Every one of the sixteen cute Dumbo carriages is directed and looked after by Timothy Mouse with his eagle eyes, standing atop the central pole of the ride.

Queues for this ride are often crowded due to its popularity, but don’t worry, as long as you have Magic Kingdom Attraction tickets, your wait won’t be long since the ride is fast loading. And to further ease your wait, you also have interactive features included in the habitat around the queue.

Please note that this ride is also open during the Magic Kingdom’s extra ‘Magic Hour’. Prepare all your tickets prior to your arrival by getting Magic Kingdom tickets online, and avoid yourself a lot of needless hassle.

The whole point behind the ‘Dumbo the Flying Elephant’ ride is a ‘hub and spoke’ attraction, where Dumbo replicas complete with his adorable ears spin around a central hub/pole, all colourful and fully complimenting to Dumbo’s theme.

An interesting fact about this ride is that Walt Disney Magic Kingdom once thought of sending this ride over to Disney World Paris but later changed their mind and renovated this attraction in its original home while they built a new version over in Paris.
