Boneyard, Animal Kingdom

Erected within the Walt Disney World Animal Kingdom stands the eminent Dinoland U.S.A., proud home of the Boneyard attraction grounds.

The Boneyard is a prehistoric playground with that magic touch that only Disney World Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Imagineers can deliver.

A play maze filled with fun fossils amongst a wide span of sand, this beautifully designed area stands as a heaven place for the young and the young at heart.

The youngsters together with their friends or even family can enjoy simple sand games in the vast pits at the Boneyard.

The well thought playground by Disney Animal Kingdom also offers the opportunity to explore, search and find fossils of all kinds inside these sand grounds. The T-Rex together with the Triceratops and Mammoths are just a few of the fossils you can find in the Boneyard at the Walt Disney Animal Kingdom.

Dinosaur and Animal Kingdom have successfully made the Boneyard accessible to any guest that makes use of any wheelchair/ecv or motorized scooter without any need of getting out of same transportation.

Animal Kingdom has created attractive and realistic surroundings around all of the Boneyard area, with great attention and care given to details. Such an example is the Boneyard sign itself, representing a giant shoulder blade bone.
