The Diamondplex | ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

The Diamondplex at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort features four softball fields in a circular configuration with two additional fields directly adjacent. The outfield fence measures in at 305 feet and temporary fencing is available for games with shorter distance requirements. This flexible outdoor softball field venue can be configured to accommodate fastpitch softball, slowpitch softball, and youth baseball games. Every one of the fields feature spacious and comfortable dugouts and bullpens. There is a tower that overlooks the venue offering a great vantage point and areas for scorekeepers and officials, concession stands, press facilities, and more.

The Diamondplex at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex was the first venue to be built at the complex. Because of its location and because of the mild winter weather in Orland, the Diamondplex continues to be a popular destination for softball tournaments including Disney’s Slowpitch Holiday Classic presented by Worth, USSSA Men’s Major Slow Pitch World Series, USSSA Girl’s Fastpitch World Series, and more.
