Cross Country Course | ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
The Cross Country Course at Walt Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex takes runners on a run through the varied and unique terrain of the Complex. The course consists of multi-purpose fields, the Track and Field Complex, and a 0.7 mile wooded trail, giving cross country competitors a special view of several parts of the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The Cross Country Course can be shortened or lengthened depending on the cross country even being held, including both 5k and 8k courses.
Several special events are held at the Cross Country Course at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex. One such event is the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic. College and high school cross country athletes and their coaches, families, and friends travel from all over the world to participate in this exciting and challenging event. The Cross Country Course can be used in conjunction with the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex’s Track and Field Complex for exciting and exclusive sporting events.
