Silver Springs is a Nature Theme Park

Central Florida is world famous for the unparalleled theme parks and mind-boggling, high-tech attractions of parks like Disney World and Universal Studios. There are, however, a multitude of smaller theme parks in the area which offer unique experiences as well.

One such park is Silver Springs, located in Ocala, Florida. Billed as “Nature’s Theme Park,” Silver Springs features concerts by renowned musical artists, live animal exhibits, nature tours, glass-bottom boat rides, botanical gardens, and exciting special events.

This fall, Silver Springs will host a Fright Night event, a Scottish and Celtic festival, a car show, and much more. On September 4, a special guest makes an anticipated appearance at Silver Springs—guests will welcome Sponge Bob Square Pants for one special day! Sponge Bob will be making several appearances at the park during the day.
Silver Springs is an affordable theme park which the whole family can enjoy. And because this is, after all, Florida, there are some fun rides and play areas as well!
