Aquatica Water Park | SeaWorld
Aquatica is a water park operated by SeaWorld theme parks and is located across the road from SeaWorld in Orlando. The park has done a great job of incorporating water slide attractions with live animal exhibits. A perfect example of this is the Dolphin Plunge attraction. Riders plummet through one of two enclosed tube slides which pass through a pool containing a pod of dolphins, while Loggerhead Lane is a lazy river ride that passes through a grotto of cichlid fish and a dolphin exhibit. All the dolphins at Aquatica are males born in captivity who came from SeaWorld's park in California.
Whether you prefer heart-pounding excitement or a slower pace, you’ll find something to keep you happy at Aquatica. Thrill rides include the Taumata Racer, Omaka Rocka, Tassie’s Twisters, HooRoo Run, and Wallhalla Wave. For guests who are looking for relaxation, there’s Loggerhead Lane and Big Surf Shores. Of course kids of all ages will also find fun at Aquatica, and small children are no exception. They’ll find two areas designed just for them: Kata's Kookaburra Cove is designed for younger children, with smaller slides and play features, and Walkabout Waters is a play fortress with slides and huge dumping water buckets.
Aquatica offers several different cabanas, which can be reserved for the day. These cabanas are private, comfortable, and available for just a few guests or several people. Additionally, dining opportunities abound. You can have a family picnic or dine at one of several food establishments at the water park including Banana Beach Cookout, Mango Market, and WaterStone Grill. Banana Beach Cookout gives you the choice to enjoy unlimited visits all day to the all-you-care-to-eat buffet, or a one-time visit.
